AUCP strives to meet the diverse needs of families by offering a variety of preschool classes for different age groups on various days of the week. All classes are scheduled from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, unless otherwise specified. Co-oping amounts may vary monthly to accommodate scheduling preferences. The monthly averages listed below are based on the total anticipated co-ops for the year.
Tuition rates for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year are awaiting approval, with the final decision expected in April following the vote by AUCP membership to officially endorse them.
Panda Class (1 year old by September 30)
Panda classes, available five mornings a week, provide a nurturing environment for toddlers to play, learn, and socialize. Families can enroll their child one day per week or more if space allows. Supervised by a teacher, an aide, and a co-oping parent, Pandas offer a safe introduction to the world of learning. Families enrolling an older sibling at AUCP may enroll children under one year old in the Panda class.
Co-oping Expectations: 6-7 times per year
Tuition: Monthly – $155 per day ($150 for Monday) | Yearly $1395 per day ($1350 for Monday)
Kangaroo, Koala, and Wallaby Classes (2 years old by September 30)
These preschool classes consist of 9 children each. The Koala and Wallaby classes meet on Monday and Thursday mornings; the Kangaroo class meets on Monday and Wednesday mornings. Toilet training is not required, allowing a supportive environment for early learning.
Co-oping Expectations: 1-2 days per month (12 per year)
Tuition: Monthly $265 | Yearly $2385
Penguin and Puffin Classes (3 years old by September 30)
For 3-year-olds, these classes consist of 12 children each, meeting on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Toilet training is not a prerequisite, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Co-oping Expectations: 2 times per month (18 per year)

Dolphin and Eagle Classes (4 years old by September 30)
Tailored for 4-year-olds, these classes, with 14 children each, meet on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings. The Dolphin and Eagle classes offer diverse experiences, including field trips, language activities, and cooperative learning.
Co-oping Expectations: 2-3 times per month (21 per year)

Cheetah Class (STEAM Focus)
An optional class with a STEAM-based curriculum on Thursday mornings, the Cheetah class encourages discovery, observation, and problem-solving. To be eligible, children must be enrolled in the Penguin or Puffin class.
Co-oping Expectations: 3-4 times per year

Owl Class (Pre-Kindergarten Focus)
This optional pre-kindergarten class on Wednesday mornings focuses on building social and emotional skills through play. Eligible students must be enrolled in the Dolphin or Eagle class.
Co-oping Expectations: 3-4 times per year

Stay & Play (Afternoon Extended Days)
Offered on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, Stay & Play (12:30-3 PM) helps preschoolers acclimate to a full day of school. No co-oping is required, and eligibility is for students in the Penguin, Puffin, Dolphin, or Eagle classes.
